IMMERSE ARTIST 2010 NATIONAL COMPETITION

The Immerse Artist 2010 National Competition is the Christian music industry’s official talent competition for unsigned acts. At the National Competition all ARTISTS compete “live” – from preliminary stages through the finals.

Winners from the various GMA regional events automatically advance to the semifinal round of the National Competition, then compete together with the Immerse contestants for the grand prize titles, including: Solo 2010, Group 2010, and Band 2010.

The Artist 2010 National Finals takes place on Saturday evening on the main stage, as part of the evening concert series at Immerse. A select group of music industry judges will provide LIVE feedback during the show. These individuals and a selection of music industry judges in attendance will make the final decisions. Awards for all ARTIST categories will be presented at the close of the Saturday evening concert.

PRIZES

Here are the prizes we have announced so far for the IMMERSE 2010 Competitions – keep checking back for more!

Disney:
One artist finalist will be selected to receive a performance slot at the “Night of Joy” event at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida! The prize includes a vacation package for the winning artist, including accommodations at a select Walt Disney World® Resort hotel, airfare, Disney theme park tickets and Night of Joy tickets.

Lillenas:
One participant from the 2010 Immerse songwriting competition will be chosen to receive a publishing development deal with Lillenas. The agreement will include song consultation until songwriter has a song cut or placed. Agreement also allows for potential expansion into an exclusive publishing contract. *Lillenas representative will be responsible for determining recipient. Recipient does not necessarily need to be an Immerse category winner.

World Vision:
World Vision is awarding an all expense paid* trip to one IMMERSE competitor for the World Vision Artist Associates Conference January 19-22, 2011 in San Antonio, TX!

Network with other artists, learning from a global perspective, relaxation and fun Hear from:
- Speakers involved firsthand in social justice for children and who care for the impoverished
- Artists and other professionals who meet the challenges of the active Indie artist life

*airfare, hotel, meals, transportation in San Antonio, activities
