Street Team



What is a street team?

A street team is a group of people who work at the local and street-level to promote an artist or in this case, an event. Your primary mission will be to spread the word about IMMERSE, get people pumped about attending, and help them register.

How Can I Join?

Send an email to immerse@gospelmusic.org and tell us your name, email, location, and a little bit about your interests in IMMERSE. We’ll give you all the additional information that you need and help you get started if you have any questions. When you join you will automatically be entered to win a $15 iTunes gift card! There are plenty of opportunities to win amazing prizes and earn awesome rewards. Scroll down to the bottom of this page to see what you can win!

Missions / How to Earn Credits


1 Credit Refer a friend and get them to register.

To Redeem: Send a list of names of the friends you registered and we’ll credit your account. Remember to give the people you register the promo code to get $50 off!

1 Credit Hang up 10 posters in different locations for the event.

To Redeem: Send a picture of each poster you hung up to receive credit. Please send small file sizes. Limit 3 credits.
1 Credit Pass out 50 flyers.

To Redeem: Send proof that you passed out 50 flyers. Ex: A picture of the stack of 50 and a picture of yourself passing them out to people (at church music lessons, worship rehearsal etc) Make sure that you pass out flyers to people who you believe might be interested in attending the event. Send details about who you passed them out to. Limit 3 Credits.
1 Credit Get 10 friends to join the IMMERSE Facebook group OR Write on 10 fan pages for different artists or groups and tag immerse.

To Redeem: Have each friend comment on the Facebook wall and mention your name and what you told them about IMMERSE. Limit 3 Credits.
1 Credit Update your Facebook, Twitter, Myspace,etc (where applicable) pages with a post about IMMERSE (be sure to tag us in the post).

To Redeem: Send screen shots of a social media posts promoting IMMERSE. At least three (3) to get credit. Limit 1 credit.
1 Credit Change your profile picture to the IMMERSE poster and keep it there until the event.

To Redeem: Send a link to your profile. Starts July 7th. Limit 1 Credit.
1 Credit Something creative!

To Redeem: This one is up to you guys. Think of a unique and awesome way to promote IMMERSE and hopefully get people to register. Send an email explaining your idea and how you carried it out. Feel free to send pictures of what you did. We’ll assign credit as we see fit!

Remember, one of your biggest resources is this website, www.experienceimmerse.com, so make sure to give them the address whenever possible. What can I do with my credits?

You can redeem your earned credits for anything on the following list. They are non-transferrable and are valid until July 31, 2010. Each credit can only be redeemed once.

20 Credits Reserved seating for all nights of IMMERSE concerts, Free registration for IMMERSE 2010 or 2011, and a Block of CDs from your favorite Christian artists.
15 Credits VIP Package: Meet and greet invitation, soundcheck access and reserved concert seating – Thur, July 29
10 Credits Half-off your IMMERSE 2010 or 2011registration
10 Credits Artists can redeem for an opportunity to perform on an IMMERSE stage
10 Credits Exclusive access to IMMERSE artist’s soundcheck & reserved concert seating
5 Credits Free pair (2) of tickets for one (1) evening concert during IMMERSE 2010
5 Credits Invitation for one (1) to artist meet and greet reception on Thur, July 29 @ IMMERSE

Guidelines and Fine Print

Be respectful. You will be representing IMMERSE, so please do not become a spammer. IMMERSE is not responsible for any costs or liabilities that may be incurred during your street team efforts. Being on the street team is free; spending money on promotional projects (i.e. printing flyers, etc) is optional and your responsibility. We do not encourage any illegal or illicit activity. Using outside companies or paying someone else to do your street team work is strictly forbidden. Anyone found to be doing so will be disqualified from winning any prizes. Credits are non-transferable (cannot be exchanged for cash, etc), expire July 31, 2010, and may only be redeemed once. Information about how to claim your tickets, passes, and other street team prizes will be emailed directly to you when you redeem your credits. Remember to have fun!
